Blue Matter
Blue Matter are a 4-piece jazz/funk band operating out of Bournemouth. They have made a name for themselves with their original mix of old-school jazz and rare groove sounds. All accomplished musicians, they pride themselves on writing their own material, and when they do cover a classic track it is always with energy and innovation. The band have gigged extensively in the last six years, helping to kick-start the South Coast café culture with their jazz nights. Blue Matter are committed to bringing back jazz grooves to the post club generation, broadening their audience across the country.
Highlights include playing at the Larmer Tree Festival in 2003, and playing on the revolving floor of the BT Tower in London.…
